NSA, the National Speaker's Association, has a speaking competition every year. Out of 4,000 professional speakers that were eligible, 5 of us went to the finals at the NSA convention in Indianapolis in 2012, and I won the competition against a great field of competitors.

The video above was the first video in the competition. which was a 5 minute, prepared spech on social media.

Here was the video for the finals of the best professional speaker competition, about an ostrich jockey, which

was an impromptu speech

where they gave me the topic, "How I became the world champion ostrich jockey"

where I had only 10 minutes to prepare the speech.
