Using Reversee app on Iphone to search for images on internet thru Google
For monthly Social Media tips |
Ever see a photo on Facebook and wonder what it is? You can do the equivalent of a “reverse google images” pretty easily on your phone.
In other words, you can see if that picture exists anywhere on the internet, and see what the description says.
This is especially useful if:
- you see a meme that looks deceptive
- you see a vacation spot and want to know what it is
- someone shows a picture of a famous person, but you don’t know who they are
But there’s also another practical reason to use this. You can take a snapshot of your own LinkedIn or Facebook picture, run it through reverse, and see if anyone created a fake account using your picture.
All of this can get more complicated, and the techniques can become more efficient, but this should change your life.
Good luck, and stay away from other people. It’s easy for me – women have been social distancing from me all my life.
